since the first look of Ekta Kapoor’s new venture went online, the web
was abuzz with guesses about the name of the hero. But without delaying it
further, the hidden face is made public, and he is undoubtedly the charming Varun Dhawan, like
most of you have already guessed.
A few days back it was reported that Varun is all set to work in Ekta Kapoor’s next, a Hindi remake of a superhit Telugu film. Then, later on, it was heard that Ekta has roped in Varun Dhawan’s father, director David Dhawan to direct the same film.
Karan Johar, who launched Varun Dhawan last year with his Student Of The Year, tweeted the first look of the film, and announced that the film is Balaji’s next. Varun’s co-star, Alia Bhatt, too, has tweeted the first look, and asked her followers “Guess who????”. So, there is tremendous buzz riding on the film right from the release of its first look. The film is reportedly titled Main Tera Hero.
As per sources, Ekta Kapoor has bought the remake rights of the Telugu hit, Kandireega, for Rs 2 crore, for her new film. She wanted someone young to do the movie and decided that Varun fit the bill as he has an innate appeal. While talking to a daily, she even said that Varun is like a young Salman Khan in the making.
As per Ekta, the film will be for the masses, and its treatment will be classy. And going by the first look, Varun looks promising. The hunt for his heroine is on. Catch the young heartthrob in his new film:
