Though Wolverine fans might have been slightly disappointed with the latest edition of the robust mutant, The Wolverine was worth it all only for Hugh Jackman’s flawless performance. In the domestic box office, the film saw a good opening weekend collections as it went on to collect 3.15 crores on Friday, 4.10 crores on Saturday and 3.25 crores on Sunday. In total, the film from its multiplex audiences alone managed to rake up 10.50 crores at the domestic box office.
Entertaining and engrossing, this film is a one man show. Hugh Jackman is aided well with his brilliant acting skills and powerful stunts, along with some sleek samurai action, all of which makes this film a satisfactory watch. X Men loyalists might be slightly disappointed but Wolverine fans will come out with positive remarks. The good word of the mouth might work in the film’s favor and hence its box office collections in India can be expected to soar in the days to come.
